Sniper Computer was founded in 2000 by a Microsoft Professional, programmer and futures trader in response to the inability to find reasonably priced custom high-performance computers. A discerning trader clientele followed.

The Sniper Computer approach to custom computers can be compared to the fitting/tailoring of a custom suit. There is no fancy website or brochure because the computer hardware is as volatile as the futures market. Clients do not fill out a order form, but are interviewed to determine, their exact trading computer needs and wishes. Computers are then assembled using todays state of the art hardware, and required software such as NinjaTrader is pre-installed, configured and stress tested.

When NinjaTrader arrived at Sniper Computer, trader programmers naturally gravitated to its versatile high-performance trading and development platform. A multi year project to provide profitable custom strategies and indicators for in-house traders and clients began.
